This webinar will highlight findings from Research for Action’s (RFA) research study, "From State Adoption to District Implementation: Approaches and Strategies for Personalized, Competency-Based Learning." to be released June 3, 2022. The webinar will focus on a roadmap of approaches to adopting personalized, competency-based learning at the state level, as well as state supports for local implementation.
Stewart Hudson of the Leon Lowenstein Foundation and Rebecca Wolfe of KnowledgeWorks will open the session by framing the importance of understanding the how personalized, competency-based learning has been scaled and implemented across multiple states. Mark Duffy, RFA Senior Research Associate, and Mary Eddins, RFA Policy Associate, will present the research findings. Jon Alfuth, KnowledgeWorks Policy Director, will respond to key findings and discuss policy implications.
